Football Packers - Bills

Not sure who is into football here. Got any predictions? For me Go Packers Go Bills!! Being from Denver I can't root for the Chef's. Patrick Mahomes is awesome no doubt but I hope Buffalo stuffs him into the turf.

When they started taking a knee during the National Anthem was when I totally quit watching the NFL. I am not trying to get political here but I will never watch another NFL game including the Super Bowl.

I agree with you redoldsma! There are some people taking the knee and not knowing what they are kneeling for, they just follow along like little sheep.

I’d like to include NBA games into the boycott list. I was a huge Pacers fan, I couldn’t care any less now.

It seems to be the groups that complain the most about being treated differently spare no effort pointing out differences. You can’t bitch about equality while demanding special recognition.

Honestly I do have to agree with many of these opinions. The NFL in particular us full of how many girlfriend/wife beaters? Sucks the indecency that has become what professional athletes are. Even here in Denver. Von Miller just got a domestic abuse charge.

I grew up with an athletic Father. I have been in so many professional baseball and football parks. I love the game but as many point out the mentality of the Entitled Athlete ruins the game. The NFL in particular just blows the BS off. Funny thing about the original knee taker kapernick he sucked anyway. He took a knee because he sucked as a player. It was a cover.

People forget he wasn't that good towards the end. But he's made a hell of a living playing the victim. I turned it off before kickoff when I saw some of the bears kneeling during the anthem and haven't looked back. We're doing a Final Destination fest for super bowl Sunday.

I just saw a news article headline that some typical major super bowl sponsers are opting out this year, had iread the article i would know why, but iwould guess declining viewership and disagreement of political views.

Yup. If he'd been even a mediocre player what he did might have carried more weight. He was, at best, a third-string high-school player. Hey, get yer 15 minutes of fame any way you can.

I quit watching it even before all that mess, when I considered the money pro athletes make. Then after what they did to Brees last year... Drew Brees has more football talent in his little toe than the ones who called for his head have in their whole body. Don't blame him for retiring.

I'd bet Brees has managed his assets well enough that he'll live out his life in comfort. Compared to the many who blow all the millions they made living the big lifestyle and end up on the same streets football rescued them from.

lol i went back and read the article typical corporate copouts anhauser busch and pepsi among others are opting out of the super bowl advertising citing a number of reasons like decreased viewership, expense etc....but AB is only not advertising budweiser, their other products like mich light etc will still get ads, same w pepsi one product is having no ads but other products like fritos still getting ads WTF why was this even a news story...seems more like a corporate shill ad for their lack of ads which is really an ad for their other products.....
