I ran across this video last night. It was pretty cool despite the wrong year car used.
I guess they have to use whatever props they can find and the words have to rhyme just right.
Most people would not know the difference in the year.. Just like most people would not know that in the end of Keith Urban's "For you" video, the soldiers are firing Crossman BB guns during the burial salute.

 

Hey , I have a 68 conv.! Looks good in this video! Can't believe the song says 67, but still a good video.

 

My musical appreciation stopped with mid 70's rock, and as I was watching him drive off in 68, referencing a 67, well, I was overcome with a sudden urge to click it off!

 

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about the surfing movies from the 60s. This song always reminded me of my youth lost to another time. If you like surf music check out the Sandals. Here's another with a harder edge but rockin.
