I've got to wonder how many of those ridiculous prices are actually just a method of laundering money. NO ONE is stupid enough to pay $300 for a radiator cap -- unless they just have way too much money.

300 bucks for a rad cap IS CRAZY! heck I paid 190 bucks for one and was happy to get it {I was sick for a day over it} some one posted how hard they are to get and that is no joke! the fact is 300 dollars is a mere drop in the bucket when you have a concours restoration going. when you are doing a resto like that your in or out. if you start cheaping out on the rad cap that's right there in the open what else are you going to cheap out on? one thing leads to another. to bad resto's like that are so expensive because they can be very exciting and fun to build. me..... I enjoyed building my 57 chevy hotrod a lot more. but it is certainly not anywhere near as nice as my wifes 70 pace car.

I hate being correct.. That is why sometimes I wear my belt as a tie and use my tie as a belt. When I feel really freaky I'll wear two different shoes.

Hey if those caps are for sale, I'll go a grand, but you'll have to throw in 2 left shoes.
