I'm pretty sure I posted this on this forum before but it's worth another look. This is from 2015? Maybe? Anyway, good video. Burnouts, dogs, rowing a 5 speed! It has it all!
All work done under 5500rpms. Torque! Those tires don't stand a chance.
I want a stick in my 442 so bad I bought a Challenger RT with a TK6060. FUN.
I put that 5 speed in myself. It first was a Muncie M-20. It had 3.73s in it with the. 64 overdrive. Effective rear gear, 2.38. I too wanted a stick so bad.
442 or Cutlass?
400 or 455?
Sure sounds nice through headers.
I've been on the fence many many times for many years with my 442 for a OAI, header & stick conversion. Its just to stock and numbers matching I cant bring myself to modifying it. Thus the new to me Challenger.
It's a Cutlass S. Came with a wheezy 350. I put in a 455. Yes, never modify your car. It's too nice. Mine was in very good shape but was an S. I mean VERY good shape. Car ran like a watch. So smooth.
This motor was built right. Edelbrock heads among other goodies. Love that car!
I did the Edelbrock top end kit. Heads, cam, intake. Even in this trim, the car only made about 375 to the tire. MSD, Hooker, Holley, Hotchkis, Tremec, all added to the excellence of this car.
Last I knew, the car was in the Czech Republic for sale. 45,000 Euros?
Looks like you've got an air gap intake. I'm surprised that fits under a stock hood with the OAI style air cleaner.
The air cleaner did smash against the hood. Good call by you. You have experience with OAI apparently because you're dead on. That motor showed very well.
