Damn shame. I remember when I was going to NTSU and worked at a Shell in North Dallas. He was just getting famous and was looking for a house to buy. He called a realtor to look a house in University Park or in that neighborhood area. If you don't know that area it is multi-million dollar homes and all white. When the realtor met him to show the house she refused to show it. He bought one anyway in that area.

Another victim of the corona virus. It's a shame. He made the kind of music I could appreciate.

You misread. The release said Covid induced side effects. IE

Covid> weakens immune system> Pnumonia occurs or influenza > If influenza then pnumonia occurs >

Covid does not kill. The same thing that has been killing 40M people worldwide is still killing 40M people worldwide....influenza led pnumonia.

I do not say this to argue but to inform. There is no vaccine that stops influenza or pnumonia. The vaccine they are now offereing does not even address Covid influenza or pnumonia. It is a health booster shot.

RIP Charlie. Roy Clark covered many of your songs. You were admired by the best.

The don't explain it to the general public that way. Nearly everyone thinks it works like the sort of Polio vaccine we used to get when we were kids.
Besides, people have been experiencing serious side effects, during tests on volunteers.
If they haven't yet developped a true vaccine for curing HIV/AIDS, who are they trying to fool, pushing a "vaccine" that only has been around for a short time and hasn't even been thoroughly tested?
They're not jabbing me with this Quaccine of theirs

The difference is covid affects anyone, while HIV is still stigmatized as a gay/junkie disease. Meaning the self-righteous had no interest in protecting people they deemed immoral and unworthy.

You can bet the rent money had HIV affected the same people as covid has, there'd have been an HIV vaccine 30 years ago.

Add in the unrelenting political pressure to make an effective covid vaccine and you see why we have it so quickly. Again, goes back to who's affected by the virus and who can score political points. I don't believe for a second that the timing of the first vaccine announcement was coincidental.

It is sad about Charley though. I could listen to his brand of country.

This thread was started as a tribute to a great entertainer and person. Can we please keep it that way? If you want to start a thread about the covid vaccine please do so.
