Christopher dead at 91, while quite a gifted and accomplished actor I find it interesting that one of his most famous roles

Captain von Trapp is a role he was not fond of and he was not particularly fond of the movie The Sound of Music. I guess one of the signs of a good actor is playing the role when you don't like it.

 

I have never seen The Sound of Music (along with many other supposed movie classics) but I am somewhat familiar with Christopher Plummers other work. Definitely had some good roles.
