Chicago Trump tower photos

While going through some old emails I found these that I thought some of you might enjoy. A friend of mine worked on the building and forward this link to me a couple of years ago.

Wow.
I wasn't there for all that cool stuff. I did however make a ton of plywood templates for the granite countertops and made a lot of the wooden lockers.

All the hard work that I put in there is either in the basement, or under the granite..... never to be recognized as magnificently as in those photos.

My old boss is now a Chief Engineer there I could see if he can take some pictures of the basement lockers. One of the few things I miss about working downtown is the views from the tops of some of those buildings.

Those are pretty cool... Though looking at the weather in some of them, it makes me happy I chose a different profession. Lol

I see that building every work day. It's pretty cool to see it this way though.

It is so interesting. Both myself and my brother are general contractors. He's out of Mobile and I'm in KY. We've built some big stuff but not like that. Just amazing, people don't have any idea what it takes. Coinsidentally, our family lived in Chicago 1953-58. Southside back then. Sensational pictures!
