Broke some eggs tonight

12 dozen to be exact. Tonight at our church we had a shrove tuesday dinner. I helped cook. I cooked 144 scrambled eggs in an hour and half. I don't think I want any eggs for awhile.

I had planned to go to 5 PM Mass and then to the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, but as usual things at work went to schit about ten minutes before I intended to leave, and I was 6:30 getting out of there. By that time I was tore almost completely out of the frame, so no Eucharist or pancakes for me today.

One thing I would love to give up for Lent is stoopid schit happening at lunchtime or quitting time. I rarely make New Year's resolutions because they never stick. This year I resolved to 1) not work past my normal quitting time and 2) not work thru my half-hour lunch break. The place blew that out of the water the first week of the year. And I keep telling meself, you only have to get thru six more years...

By that time the cars will have rusted in place and I'll be like the Tin Man without his oil can.

I read this and it brought back memories of when I had KP in basic training in the USAF in 1966. Another guy and I cracked 52 dozen eggs that morning. I had never cracked an egg prior to that in my life. At first we were breaking all the yellows and the cook came back and got all over our butts.

No cars were harmed with my cooking.

Glad I bought back some memories(good, bad or indifferent)

So practice makes perfect I guess - I need such a lesson... One egg out of 6 that I crack squirts me so i am probably doing something wrong!
Stupid eggs.

A friend of mine has a 63 or 64 Comet that he and his dad restored .He also has 2 now 3 boys, but the 2 older ones where 8 or 10 years old.Well one of them was chasing the other one around the garage with a can of carb cleaner.I can't remember how bad he got the Comet but it wasn't good.

Lol well the eggs didn't bother me my car is half tore apart at the moment but my wife had cought him under it with his plastic hammer hitting it.

Because of this I am extra careful of not leaving tools out

Mom says when ever she can't find him he's just like dad hiding in the garage
