April's Calendar Girl

I flipped the month on my All Olds Calendar today. The classy chasis showing off her lines and curves looks very familiar. Can anyone think where I have seen her before? She's a real beauty. Especially since she has her top down!

She's a beauty and a real "Lady" too.
Even with her top down.
The May car we'll never hear the end of until June.

It doesn't matter what month of the year it is, we never hear the end of it about that May car with the Chebby paint.

I just remembered that our calendar girl is getting a front end job. I prefer original front ends on my calendar girls. I hope they still look original when the operation is done. Hopefully the job just tightens them up and does not lift things to un-natural heights.

You know that one looks quite familiar, as if I had seen her around here recently...

I prefer originals, too. But when they age past 40, gravity does its thing. Too much sag and it's not much fun anymore. Need to get her back to her original looks and levels.
It will reduce the bouncing and swaying, too, when driven hard...

Thanks...
She always has her top off, unless it is too cold or raining or for slumber.
To me, a convertible top is just an umbrella / dust cover...

Just a little background on the photo...
It was taken at Lake Lavon on 9-22-10, which was Chinese Moon Day (the day the moon was supposed to be the brightest or something...)
My ladyfriend and I took pictures and ate Chinese mooncakes (expesive little suckers!)
It was warm, but not hot or humid - amazing for that time of year here.

It took quite a few shots of the car to get the flash output and shutter speed just right. It was even harder to get the pictures of Alice with the car, since she kept moving and I had to use a slower shutter speed. Kinda like taking pictures of cats and dogs I guess...

Thanks...
Time is flying alright, and warm weather came early. Right now it is perfect cruising weather and I do not have the ***** to make her immobile now! However, if I do not get started on the front end, it may get pushed off til fall!
