Another guitarist gone

I heard about this yesterday and couldn't believe it. I still listen to an album of his that I bought forever ago. It's titled "Guitar Boogie". It's Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. Mostly blues and really good.
He will be missed.

I never really got into anything of his that I listened to, but then again I didn't listen to a bunch. I did recognize that he was seen as one of "THE" guys. I hate that I've hit the age where I know Im going to see the legends die. EVH hit hard, but I'm also a huge EVH fan.

A Jeff Beck nerd here.
I am a drummer and I am a huge Jeff Beck fan. I saw him more then any other artist and band (even Rush). His style was not like any other guitarist. He will be missed. RIP Jeff.

Innovative musicians are innovative. Once they teach it is out there but they aren't them.
Jeff Beck cared about playing guitar. He played a guitar because he felt it. He loved the guitar. He didn't play to impress. He just did what he did. Exactly like Eddie Van Halen. Joe Walsh. So many others...
