I think the fact that @ 8000 cars were totaled would ADD to the value - DUH!
I'm sure we may have only lost a few oldsmobiles but each brand probably lost a proportional amount of remaining cars on the road. I'm guessing many of these will be fixed and most people buying could care less if the car gets retitled as a salvaged car - as long as they can cruise with it that's all that matters.
But still, with even a 1000 collector cars lost that will add to demand and limit availability

Sorry, guess my old eyes skipped that "guesstimate" - was looking more for an 'all at once' situation. Warehouse or storage facility.
Kinda like the R-S Auction tent last year!
