Cutlass Grille

Has anyone ever chromed their cutlass grille? i realize it should be painted and not chromed, but i'm curious on how it would turn out...

Is it plastic? Chrome will not stick to plastic.

Painting is questionable too. You'll have to go the the local Home Depot and buy "plastic" paint. It will require no sanding or any other prep before you paint
