Door Shell

I'm about to purchase a '71 hardtop door as parts for my '71 Convt. All I need is the shell. Is this possible or will I need to purchase the correct door?

Hardtop and convert door shells are the same. You will need to transfer the wedge plate from the back edge of your convertible door to the HT door, however.
