Reverse light removal

I have a 68 Cutlass and was wondering if anyone else on here had issues removing them from the bumper. I've loosened up the nut on the threaded rod ,but can't get the electrical connector off of the bucket. Trying to remove them to install in new bumper.

I don't think it comes off the bucket. Doesn't the whole bucket assembly come out and then you remove the bulb from the front? My 66 parking/turn signals up front are like this is why I say this.

That light is an assembly. Disconnect at the wire junction nearby. Then the bumper can be removed with light asm in place.

Thanks I'll give that a try and yes you remove the lens cover and replace the bulb from the front.
