70 442 rear spoiler bolts?

Can anyone tell me what size these should be? Was thinking I could just get them at local hardware store if I knew the size rather than order them from someplace. Bought spoiler at Carlisle in October, didn't realize the bolts didn't come with it. Any info would be appreciated. . Thanks!

The spoiler should have come with the studs and nuts. They look a lot like a carb stud - you know the kind that is threaded on both ends, but not in the middle? The only thing I have on this in the Assembly Manual is it shows the stud as being part 40895.

When you install the nut assembly (4786092) you are supposed to put a wad of rope sealer over the oles on top of the deck lid, and over the fastenings on the inside of the deck lid. Sorry that's all the help I can give you. I would suggest that if you go to a local bolt supply, take your spoiler with you (I know exactly how bulky it is) and find the right bolt that fits the thread in the wing supports. I'm guessing that it will only be about 1 1/2" in total length.

Thanks for the info. Ill have to look into that. May be a better idea in this case to just get the correct parts...

Page 149 of the 'trunk items'. Good catch there. I knew I'd seen them somewhere.

Thanks Guys! Almost glad winters coming back! Back to work on my car. Gotta get the motor back together and ordered new headliner and package tray from Legendary Auto Interiors today. The parts pile is growing again.....
