can anyone decode a 56' olds trim code?

I have a 56' Olds that I would like to know what the trim codes are, can anyone tell me what they are? Here they are as follows, style 56-3637, body L2324, trim 348, paint 40-60, top ACC. Thanks for any help you can provide, Joe

I'm looking at my '55 Olds manual. The Style number 56-3637 represents The year 1956 Series 88, body Style Holiday Coup.(If there is a D after 3637, this would be a Super 88) The L2324 Body # represents "L" for Lansing, where it was assembled. It does not say what the 2324 would be, my guess it was the 2324 body assembled on that line. Trim 348, it does not give me details on that, I'm assuming that was the number for the trim package for that car.
Paint 40-60, 40=Cirrus Blue, 60=Alcan White, so your Olds is 2 tone light blue and an off white (tint of yellow). The Top ACC, there's no info on that.
Your VIN/Serial Plate# on the left hand pillar post may then look like this, 567LXXXX decode is 1956 88 built in Lansing, XXXX the car production #

Hope this helps,

And1stp

Oh man! that is cool to find out! anyone know anyone that can give me the history of the vin? finding out the history of an older vehicle is like a easter egg hunt!

Thanks for the info, can't explain how excited i am to hear it... even if it has been repainted.
