Wiper Arm Spring

It started raining while I was out today and I heard a thunk and the passenger wiper wasn't touching the glass anymore.

The spring inside the wiper arm snapped off. Where would I find a replacement?

66 Delta 88, by the way.

Buy an arm at a recycler - they're not gonna sell the spring!

Used to be every garage kept an assortment of these springs on hand. They came on a cardboard display or sometimes in a plastic case. No more. If you can find an arm from a 65-67 GM, you're golden. Otherwise you'll have to get an arm from a junker and transfer the spring, and it's a hateful job.

You might luck up and find an old line parts store that has an assortment on hand. Dorman Co. used to supply a lot of stuff like this.
