Vista Cruiser fender braces?

I bought a 70 Vista Cruiser earlier this year, it has had a few parts removed from it. I can see from a old video that it had braces from the center of the firewall out over the engine to the front fenders. I would like to replace these if not too costly. I see ads for "big block fender braces" and looked at those but they appear to be curved. My 71 convertible doesn't have them. This wagon has a 350. Any one know what I am looking for? thanks Greg.

The big block fender braces are differant. I had a set but can not find them. You may try oldspackrat, he had some Vist parts at one time.

The big block fender braces run from the bottom of the cowl area to the hood hinge area. These are completely different. The VC braces you are talking about are straight and I'm not aware of anyone who is reproing them.

Some of the 70's and 80's Cadillacs also had that bracing. Keep that in mind when you're scouring the junk yards.

I took a pair from a Caddy and beefed up the front end of my 83 Regency Brougham with them. They were an exact fit.

As they should be. All the 1977-1990 RWD B/C/D-body cars are the same from the firewall forward and even use the same core support.
