Shock question

I'm trying to figure out what shocks to get for my 71. I see a lot of people seem to go with the KYB shocks. I've read a few threads where people say they give a harsh ride. I'm going with poly bushings in the control arms and sway bars and I don't want to bad of a ride.

Are these KYBs that bad or are there other popular options I should look at?

KYBs are fine, but Bilsteins are better.

You'll hear a lot of opinions about shocks - Kinda like motor oils!

If they are similar or softer than the C4 shocks I could handle that ride, I just don't want to feel like I am rolling on wooden wagon wheels.

Good, I think I'll go ahead and order them.

Thanks
