Pitman arm shaft seals
Hi! Can't remove the inner seal. Have try to flush it out but I think it's to damage and the oil just run past it. It's the best summer in 265 years here in Sweden
so I don't want to spent hours in the garage right now. In three month there will be short days and snow and then I can spend 7 months I the garage. So my
question is. Can I just replace the outer seal and keep on driving for three months? If that doesn't work. Can you just remove the belt to the steering pump
and drive without power steering or will that do any damage? There will be no lubrication of power steering box then.
Crazy weather here in the northern part of Europe. The last three months we had have much warmer than Spain.
Best regards
