lowering ?

I Have a 71 cutlass conv. I have replaced just about everthing in the front end including the springs. The springs were stock and I dont like the hight of the front. I am thinking of putting in lowering springs, but how low can i go. I have 14" wheels and might goto 15. Any help

You will need some belltech lowering spindels and some lowering
springs so this way it keeps your a arms in the proper position as
stock. But lowers the car down about 2 1/2 inches to 3 inches
when it settels all the way around which looks great and it drives
and handels like a vett because it get's rid of all the unwanted
body roll. I did this to my 87 monte ss back in the early 90's
and was able to get a 5 inch drop with 16's on it and it was one
hell of a ride lot's of fun. Here is the link to the 2 inch drop spindel
for you car.
Good luck
Ray

Hey Ray,

I have a 72' I'm looking to lower and I just wanted to buy some ebach 1.3" lowering springs and use them with my stock spindles. Can I just install the springs then take the car in for a front end alignment and let the shop shim my existing A-arms?
