Thumbs up I put on Bilsteins.....

Bought a set of Bilstein Classic shocks on eBay.....got 25% off sale, so they were a good buy.

They replaced a 10 year old set of Edelbrock IAS shocks, which are no longer made.

Ride quality is excellent, firm but not harsh. They also tighten up the handling as well.

There were a challenge to install, as the gas charge in them is high, so compressing them to bolt on took some work.

However, very happy with them.

BTW, who ever designed the upper rear shock mounting never had to replace shocks......

Nice on the bilstein, I've used them in the past on some other cars.

My car had new at the time edelbrock shocks when I bought it, so far I'm happy w them.

What car did you put them on? What were the problems with the install?
I'm thinking of Bilsteins for my 69 442

I have a set on my '72 cutlass ragtop - definitely a great call - they aren't harsh over rough roads and help greatly to stabilize the car's handling in conjunction with the other suspension upgrades I've made (good aftermarket front/rear sway bars, tubular rear control arms)
