hellwig boxing kit

is the hellwing boxing kit worth the 550 bucks or is it something that can be done with the right tools and some 10g plate?

If you have a cutter and a welder....it looks like you can just knock it out. Question is, even with the instructions, can you save $550 plus tax in your time of cutting all these things let alone the trip to Alro or whoever your metal outlet is.

i bought the HPI Customs kit. Havent installed it yet but it looks really nice.

I installed the Helwig kit on my pos. The kit is very good and goes together easily. I would recommend it.

If you go to my build thread I have several pictures of the installation.

thanks guys. looks like i won't be needing that boxing kit after all. i was sourcing the kit for a 67 build that is no longer going to happen. i bought a 65 442 last night and will be kicking the 67 on down the road. lol thanks everyone for your info, i will keep in mind for the future, this 442 will be the first of many future projects.
