Core Support Holes

Gang
Geting ready to set the core support back on the frame. Like so many others the holes around core support rust out. To fix this i cut that sectino out and welded a new piece of steal back in. In keeping the old pieces cut out i marked the center of the hole. I am looking for a second reference to make sure i have two things.

1. the correct diameter of the holes to be drilled.
2. the correct placement of the hole. Measuring from the tip of the front of the frame i would assume.

Back to the top! If no one else has what you need I've got a 1971 frame I can measure for you, but it would be next weekend. I'm not positive it's the same but believe it is. Maybe someone who knows can help out! John

they should be the same. Looking for center of hole measurement or even measurement from the tip to to each outside edge. I can do the math from their if needed.

I just want to make sure i don't drill them in the incorrect spot and have fender alignment issues.
thanks
Mike

It's a little late, but you could have used a rather large and thick washer... they usually come with the holes already in them...
