Core Support
Not knowing your skill or expertise, it's hard to rate this as "easy" or "difficult". It's a pure remove and replace, but depending on the car's history, rusted fasteners may pose a challenge. Of course, there's a lot of disassembly that's required to get to the core support, as well as alignment of body panels after reassembly.
I'm new to car restoration , and I learned the hard way that the hood and fenders are quite difficult to get aligned properly once you put everything back on .... on my car , I was missing shims , had broken cowl nut clips , inner wheel well plastic tabs broke when trying to get bolts off . Mark / scrib the area where the core bolts to the frame , so you can put the core back in the EXACT spot , or aligning the panels will be impossible . I got my panels really close , and from what people said on here , it's real difficult to get it perfect . Pay close attention to where the wiring for the headlights , marker lights , and horn get fastened too . I can't remember every detail , but it was a real PITA .
