Converting '55 to power steering

I'd like to convert my '55 88 from manual to power steering. I have most of all the necessary parts that I need (sector w/attached shaft, pump, hoses and brackets) Does anyone know if the pitman arm is the same on the manual and power boxes? Also, the power box is much larger. Is there a problem running dual exhausts with power steering on '55 models. Thanks! I'm new to the board and can see there's lots of good-will around here!

I am not sure about the pitman arm. The power steering made putting duals on the 54 impossible. It was the only car the guy at the muffler shop had seen that he was not able to put duals on. If you need to have your sector rebuilt, I recommend Chip at Power Steering Services in Springfield, MO. Great guy and does outstanding work.
