Coil Spring Replacement

I have a 1980 olds cutlass supreme that I am restoring. I am about to get the project into a rolling chassis.

My question is I see when I am looking at new coil springs that they sell other accessories with it. I am wondering if I am suppose to have the rubber circle part on the upper and lower parts of the front and rear coil springs?

Harmon, do you have the factory service manual for your car?

If it requires it, it will be listed there.

Olds used rubber a insulator in many models.

I think the rear is similar to the older cars, insulator on top bottom of spring rides on the axle cup
