Seems like there are differant answers here as far as black and white top codes. Some say A is white and B is black and others say the reverse. I imagine it should be a cut and dry answer. 26 A. I know the 26, but remain confused on the A.

 

I did find the codes in my assembly manual and 26 A is Viking blue with a white top. Dont know why some post that A is black??

 

Believe it or not codes changed from year to year. As an example: 68-73 Covert Beige. There are at least four variations and codes for the same color depending on year and carline.
