I have a 51 2 door 88. Was wondering if anyone has heard of or done a chassis swap. Is there a late model GM chasis I could drop the body on? Any help would be great in this area. Thanks

 

The answer is, not without a LOT of custom fabrication. Your 51 has an X frame, late model cars all use a perimeter frame. Not even close. This has been done before and it usually requires you to cut the floor pan from the same donor car as the frame and use it to replace your stock floor pan so the chassis fits. This assumes, of course, that you've already found a chassis with the same wheelbase and track width.
