Body mount frame repair

I've searched a lot of threads and utubes and all repairs of mounting holes are cut out and new repairs welded flush. Is there some that weld washers on top of frame? That would , I'm sure, meen all mounts would have to repaired to keep it level. Sure, I'm lazy but willing to do correct repairs. Thanks

If your frame is corroded, it might be best to search for a nice desert southwest frame. What year do you need?

I am by no means a Restoration expert, I can only give my opinion on how I repaired my 72 Cutlass convertible frame
I had 7 frame mount holes that were rusted and needed repair. I bought a couple washers for this but found the metal was too thin and the washers wouldn't cover the entire area.
I decided to weld in new metal and recut the holes, If you look at my Photo Album you can see my process.
I would think if you want to just weld new washers on top, your call, but as you mention, to keep it all level you would have to do them all and unless you remove all of the
rust it would just come back and you would be in the same boat
Good Luck

Heh Heh Heh!!!! After I took pictures I realized what a mess I was working above. I'll be better when I get started on the right side. Learning a lot about grinding and spot weld removing
