Are 'A' body bushing kits universal?

I purchased an A body bushing kit off ebay and found that the rad bushings appear to be too big for the holes (the taper part of the puck doesn't fit the hole)...the instructions are titled "1968/72 Chevelle/El Camino" ...are these kits suppose to be universal for 'A' bodies?

No.
From my experience it seems each one has their own core support bushing set. Now some other bushings like front and rear suspension bushings seem to be the same, with some exceptions, like there are supposedly some front lower control arm bushings which are oblong instead of round. I have never encountered the oblong ones but they could be there anyway.
Also, the last time I looked for core support bushings for a Buick GS I never did find exact replacements.
