Ball joint question
Hello..
My '62 Cutlass is is fitted with '63 THREADED style upper ball joints..
The ones I removed had a large hex head on them.. The new ones from PST Suspension are totally round (see pics for reference) . This is very odd IMO..
So, my question is: what tool is there to screw in these ROUND headed ball joints? I really don't want to use Vise grips.. My Control arms are nicely custom painted as well..
Please help!
Thanks

It almost appears that they installed press in head on a screw in lower?

So, an update on this ball joint situation.. Kanter/PST did some investigating and ALL 1963 upper ball joints have round (you can't get a wrench on them) heads on them. The threads are slightly different in pitch from 62 to 63...
Anyway.. thought I would update this for any future reference front end builds
