72 Cutlass Supreme Rear axle wheel bearings and seals removal and intallation

Hello everyone. Could someone direct me to the best thread on Rear axle wheel bearings and seals removal and installation for a 72 cutlass supreme?
Also, I am looking at replacing the pinion seal and wondering if it is a very big job.
I do have the chassis service manual, but I want to hear some first hand experience before I get into this. Not sure if it is a bigger and more complicated job than I am expecting.
Thanks!
Chris

For the axle bearings, a shop press is required to install the new bearings and seals onto the axle shafts. You can probably get a local shop to press them on for you. I used to work at an auto parts store that pressed bearings, turned rotors, light stuff like that, so ask around to see who can do it. This is assuming you don't have one or don't have a friend with one.
