67 Olds rear window clips

67 Olds rear window clips

I am repairing a rusted area on my 67 442 and find a number of sliding pieces under the trim that i dont recongnize. They are about 2 inches long by .5 inches wide with a slot in them that a pin fits into. They rest undr the bottom of the rear window.

Can anyone tell me what they are for?

Clips

This is what holds the stainless steel window trim against the glass. If you have some that are damaged or sprung be sure and replace them before putting the trim back on.

The windshield and back glass clips should be u shaped with a part that snaps over the studs in the body channel. #385 and 386 from an auto paint supply store.
