67 Cutlas trunk and rear quarters

New here and figured a good place to start. Starting a project on my wife's dads car. 67 olds 442 he bought new when she was born. In need of a trunk lid and rear quarters mainly for the top of the quarters where the trunk closes (rain gutters) for my layman terms. We found a 67 convertible and from all the measurements I took it appears to be the same trunk and the quarters seem to be also the same until you get forward of the rear pillars on the hardtop. I am thinking I can cut and fit back of the pillars?
Am I all wrong here? This our first restoration and would love some feedback!

There was only one trunklid for all body styles of 66-67 Cutlass, so yes that part is the same.
