1968 VC Front Suspension

Hey Everybody, I am needing to rebuild my front suspension on my '68 VC and as I am looking for a rebuild kit, several of the vendors list kits with oval or round lower control arm bushings. What's the info on all that? Which ones might I be looking for?

Thanks, Jim.....A proud owner, once again, after many years without.

Welcome. Unfortunately, you won't know if your car has lower control arms with the round or oval bushings until you pull them off the car and look at them. The 68-72 cars could have come either way, and lower arms can be replaced. I've had one car that had one LCA with an oval and one with a round.

Don't worry about a kit. Just buy Moog parts individually from RockAuto.

Thanks Joe, I'll get them off and have a look. Are the differences real noticeable or is it one of those things where you have to look real hard?
