69-72 cutlass / cutlass s

Hi, I am 15 and looking for a 1969-72 cutlass or cutlass s. Wanting to find a car that does not need to much work. Bone stock would be the best, so I can change stuff myself, but it doesn't really matter. Little stuff is fine like tires, wheels, and so on, but the body and engine need to be in decent shape. Located in Mankato, MN and have to find one within 300 miles of Mankato.

not looking for a supreme but post coupes would be considered. Thanks for reading. Pretty soon, I will join the MN olds club and post an ad in the newsletter! Hopefully it works out! if you have anything good, let me now at noahgaray21@icloud.com

Welcome to the world of Muscle Cars, I bought my first at fifteen as well!

If I can help you please feel free to call me anytime, everyone has advice so be careful you don't get pulled in many directions.

Exciting!!

Ryan

PS: a rusty car is absolutely the worst way to start!! A 6 cylinder power glide all original low mile grandma car is the best way to get going!!

I have not seen this one in person but this is how I would start if I got to buy my fist car again.

Welcome. Unless you get REALLY lucky and stumble into the deal of the decade, expect to pay $8,000 to $12,000 for a nice, no-rust, running 68-72 Cutlass 2dr HT "that does not need much work". Look closely at alleged no-rust cars, especially if they have just been painted., as there are a lot of less-than-honest people out there who do slipshod repairs and flip the car.

If that price range is too rich for you, consider a less popular model like the Delta 88 of the late 1960s. You can probably get into a 2dr fastback in the kind of shape you're looking for at about half the price.
