16,000 and change- don't have my production figures in front of me. They were a little more common than the Starfire coupe, but not as many seem to have survived.

You have the advantage that it is considered a Dynamic 88 subseries, so you don't have to worry about finding or restoring all the Starfire brightwork. Everything is same as a Dynamic except the rear end trim panel, which J-I shares with the Super 88.

Nice cars overall. They look really good in Tahitian Yellow or Bermuda Blue.

1964 jetstar 1

thanks on the number info-- i have found 5 on the internet that could be rebuilt but i only needed the one. it is a 20 footer right now and is red with red interior-planning on same color when done except that i am going to torch red instead of the midrange red on it now. this will be the 3rd paint job on it. 2nd one was a joke. interior not bad but going to replace anyway to get it all up to par. just need to find someone that makes the interior package for it.haven't seen anyplace that makes the door panels to match these yet.
again thanks alot for the info.

64 Jetstar interior

SMS Auto fabrics can make your door panels.

I have 4 1964 88 Oldsmobiles and I was in the same boat as you. I scoured the internet and restoration shops til I came across SMS. I have not used them but they sent me a fabric sample and I've seen their work. They assured me that they have the pattern and correct materials (including the wide metal piece) to exactly re-produce the 64 Oldsmobile 88 door panel.

Their web site is http://www.smsautofabrics.com

If you need any parts, let me know since 2 of my '64 Dynamics are parts cars.

Best of luck,

Dan

1964 Jetatar 1

Ok, do you still want a jetstar 1?
I own one, and have for over 20+ years and this is the last olds I own. 14,200 orig california miles.
Asking $16,000 obo.
If you want to see pics, let me know or a description of what has been done to it. It is above average car, does need paint, has original now, and seats and headliner. The carpets and dash are like new. Door panels are still nice.

Thanks for the feedback but the price is very high, the car is rare but not in demand. I am looking at a starfire that doesn't need paint for 5,000.00
less. It's the style I'm looking for not the exact model, it's nostalgia for me. I would like to see pictures as long as you will adjust the price.
Thanks Danny

$5000 less?

Well, I have seen your site, and you have some nice cars, but come on Danny, you have cars for over $50k!!
That is great you can get a starfire that doesnt need a paint job, doubt it has 14,200 original california driven miles, and $10,000 in restore.
I can move less on the price, BUT not $5K. I am sure you are talking apples to oranges.
IF you still want more info, I am pleased to send them.
Let me know.
Thanks.
Michael

We have a 64 JETSTAR 1

We have a 64 JETSTAR 1 that needs restoration. If anyone wants it to restore we will be willing to sell it. It has all the parts and I have pictures. It does need a lot of work though.
