I have a 67 98 2dr convertible yellow with original paint, 425 4bbl with 37K orig miles clear title and a second 68 2dr conv parts car (trunk lid and seats were missing from my car) with 455 4bbl new top no title and enough extra stuff to fill one of their trunks.

I want very badly to restore my 67 but have been short on cash and am thinking of selling. It's not a fire sale though, this is a valuable car particularly if restored properly. The price would be reasonable and there are enough in extra parts to pay what I'd ask for the pair if you are patient enough to sell them. Located in southern Ohio. If this might interest you, please let me know...

Other than Oldsmobile there is nothing in common with those cars from what the seller is asking about. Make your own for sale ads and don't clutter up his wanted ad up.

I'm confused and sorry if I made a mistake here gearheads78. I thought this was a "wanted" thread and the guy said he'd like a 60s conv or 2dr project with a 98 being his first choice. Am I wrong about that? Is he selling something? I was offering a 67 98 2dr conv running project which I thought might fit his paramaters... Did I miss something or what???

I read it as 1960 which is a very specific car.

Well then I suppose the only person who can decide which one of us understood his intent is the original poster. I found it hard to think a person would be stuck on a single model year but flexible on the model itself and features. Just seemed weird to me and since another person mentioned a 64 Starfire, I didn't feel I was cluttering up anyone's thread or annoying them. Apparently, I've annoyed you though. As far as your comment about "the seller" and how we should make our own for sale ads, he's not selling anything. This is the wanted thread. Maybe the original poster will chime in, maybe not. Either way, I wish you a very pleasant evening sir.

I can understand what was done was not on purpose in your case but it is done all too often. It is a huge pet peeve of mine for people to spam wanted ads with something that is not in the ball park of what the poster wanted

Hey Gary,

We're selling a very nice 1960 Dynamic 88 convertible. Exterior's red/white, sharp car, but not perfect. Just figuring out how much of a "project" you want to get in to.

Best,

Marshall

yeah they only made that particular body style for 1 year (i know because i own one (4door post) and it's impossible to find body parts/trim for) if you have decent money and want one in nice shape this place in Virginia is selling a nice one for $29,900 http://classiccarcenter.net/60olds.html
