Wanted: 65-72 cutlass or 442
Hello all, I'm new to this site and I'm looking for a project car, specifically a 2-door cutlass or even 442 if you got it. I'm in college now and have a pretty low budget which tops out around $3000 to spend.
So I'm looking for a car that is in overall pretty decent shape; complete interior, none to minimal amount of rust, all glass intact, pretty much a complete car. However, I'd like one with no engine or transmission. I have an Olds 455 and th400 out of a 1970 98 that is ready to go. Like I said, I right now I'm a poor college boy so I'm hoping to find a car w/o a drivetrain but is otherwise okay. This will be my first project, so nothing way too over my head would be nice.
I'm located in tidewater Virginia and I can travel as far south as S. carolina and as far north as Pennsylvania if the car is right. I'd love to hear what you guys have. I know I'm looking for something pretty hard to find in that price range w/ all those specifications, but I felt like I had to give it a shot anyway!

Might be a little over your head, but how about a '65 442 convertible!
No engine or trans, buckets and auto console and linkage, body work done, only needed trunk floor, so it's cut out. Interior floors solid, needs interior re-do, but all there, as is all chrome, emblems, mouldings and bumpers, in various conditions.
$3500 firm, or trade for above flattop station wagon, delivered to Chicago!
