69 442 Hardtop or Convertible Wanted

I am interested in a 1969 Only 442 Hardtop / Convertible that is a #1 or strong #2 quality car. Prefer a frame off restoration to OCA / MCACN level. I know this will not be cheap. Would also consider a very nice original car. Prefer a 4-speed but open. Let me know if you have anything available or leads. Thanks!!!

Congrats, but I hope it wasn't that one from above (Post 3). It had some problems.

About a #3-.

Actually I did buy the car in post #3 but I knew the issues going into it. In person, the cars shows very nice but needs a bunch of cleaning underneath. I plan on pulling the engine a re-sealing everything but leaving it as original as possible. Very happy with the purchase. I tried buying a #1 car from a member on here for two years but he is just not ready to park with it and I can't blame him.

Hope it was just my lyin' eyes, but it looked like you might have an appointment with a TIG welder for some rust repair in your future. Regardless, I'm sure you knew what you were dealing with. Best of luck -- would love to see a build thread!

There is a spot on the lower fender with rust but I don't plan on any body repairs unless it becomes absolutely needed. I want to leave it as original as possible.

I'm a purist too, but I draw the line at neglecting necessary repairs.

Besides, the rust wasn't original.
