1966 442
I am looking for a 1966 4-speed 442 hardtop in excellent condition. Must have nice paint so it can be shown. If it has the tri-power that's even better. And yes I have the funds. Just sold one of my restored Corvettes this week.
also, for those who have never owned both styles the post cars are so much tighter and more solid feeling cars to drive, especially ripping through the gears.
Good bye,we drive our 442's for the love, not for the thumbs up. There's a reason why 442's are hard to find and there's a Vette lot on every corner.

I don't really care how fast your Vette is. The reason you probably couldn't find a 442 is,you wanted a $50K car for $15K,hard to find.
You can't get anything nice for $15K. I spent $36K for my Vette and I was willing to spend that much for a 442 but I got tired if waiting for one to show up with the right color combo. Life is short.
The 1996 last of the C4 Corvette one year package was the Grand Sport. Blue, with white stripe and a couple little red fender stripes. There was also a collector's edition. They had the LT4, which was a slightly hotter LT1, and, while good by 90s standard's, it's half of what is available today.
