WTB: 1966 - 1970 Toronado
Hello: I am the editor for the Oldsmobile Club of America's Toronado - Aurora Chapter. I just finished the Jan/Feb issue. I have a wide range of 66-70's listed in the newsletter from parts cars, projects, to done nice ones. I will mail you a copy for free in the 50 states. 71 442: Nice looking car at a decent price. 1970 is a good year and I also like the style of vinal top with the body color showing around the windows. The repaint of this one is very good because the roof was painted the top color and the paint won't retain water and promote rust like the vinal might. It might have been nice to paint the roof flat and with some texture to look closer to factory. He lists the car with 44K original miles; however, the photo on the post clearly shows the car has at least 104,000 miles. You don't know how many times the odometer rolled over. There is a 70 Toronado GT very original looking car here in Redmond, Or on a classic car lot for sale. I would be happy to check it out for you if you are interested. There is a 68 on the lot as well.
