Hi everyone, I'm in the market for a 1969 442 OR convertible. To give some background, I have basic mechanical skills so I enjoy and can do maintenance stuff, bolt ons etc. but not bodywork so ideally the car would have decent body and paint. It could be auto or manual but would really like it to be console equipped. I'm not picky on colour except don't want black. It will be a Sunday driver to tinker with so #s matching not a must but originality and some history is always nice. I figured values between the 2 would be similar but of course a 442 Convert wouldn't be turned down . Due to the lousy CDN $ I would prefer to stay with CDN cars but would have no issue travelling a bit South to Pacific Northwest too for the right car. Hopefully that provides some better info on what I'm looking for and thanks in advance for any leads I receive.

Further to my post, should I be listing my budget? On one hand I don't want to show my cards and overpay but on the other one don't want to waste the time of those that are asking outside my budget. Any direction on what the usual protocol is here will be much appreciated. Oh, and I would consider 1968 too, sorry, no other year though.
