Looking to buy a 72 body/chassis/roller, doors a plus, would consider a 69-71. What do you have and where is it Thanks, Brett

I have a '69 442 body/frame, body is pretty rough, I bought it as a parts car. It is still complete but I could pull what I need and sell the rest. I also have a '68 roller with a nice frame and a better body, though I know you were looking for just '68-'71. The 68 is a 442 with a clear title, supposedly a W30 car, but is mostly just a body/rolling frame w/ doors and trunk lid. Both cars were 4spd cars.

Hi Paladin....just wondering if you found a car yet? Not sure if you'd be interested but I have a 72 Supreme near Detroit. Here's the Craigslist link and I have more photos if you're interested.

Oh I understand being a long way. We just tend to have more rust free cars here in Oregon. I am in Redmond, John is in Medford. Happy Thanskgiving to you as well. Larry

I was able to spend some time in the late 90's in Bremerton Sea-Tac area and loved it, is that similar to Medford?

I don't live in Medford. that is a long ways from me. I was stationed there years ago. It rains way too much for me there, I live in Redmond Oregon. That is right in the center of Oregon. in the desert. Medford where John 2blu442 is from is in southern oregon on the west side about 4-5 hours from me. If you ever saw the movie Rooster Cogburn then you saw where I live.

Sorry about that, I read "Redmond" and "thought" Redmond...but typed Medford. Way too tired.....
Rooster was a great movie, The Duke & Miss Hepburn made that a great movie. The rain was pretty amazing around Puget Sound. My Father is Ex Navy, and I was able to arrange for He and Mom & myself to tour his old ship, the Missouri and we traveled all around the area for a couple weeks. He pointed out several places he was stationed during WWII. SO how far from Wyoming are you?

There's Karma...we have a project starting up in Rock Sprinngs. I work for an HVAC company that does multi family buildings all over the country. I had no idea though that you could be that far away from Wyoming though!. I see you're sorta of into 66 & 67 Olds though. Wow, nice lineup.

Yea my folks bought a 67 new and that started it. I bought a 67 442 as my first car and it just has not stopped since then. I currently have 3 66 442's 2 67 Cutlass cars and a 67 442 convertible, a 69 Cutlass and a 70 442. I prefer 70-72 body the best though

66=67

Isn't that always it...my dad bought a 67 Camaro new & I loved that car and probably would be a Chebby guy to this day. But he thought it prudent to sell it just before I got my license....And he bought an Olds as a replacement...and the die was cast. Any 66-67 parts you'er looking for?, I have a barn full of stuff 64-77, and I too am more into the 69-77 so am trying to shed my excess pre 69 stuff. Brett

I have a rolling shell '71 442. It was originally bittersweet with sienna interior & vinyl top. Bench seat, AC, Electric rear defog, disc brakes, & not much else option wise. I have accumulated almost every part & piece to complete the car, but it will need quarters & some floor work, but not terrible.
Call me for more info?
I'm in Indianapolis.

So, I got the car home and had a good look at it today. It is a 69 Cutlass Supreme 2 door hardtop. was a 350 4 speed bucket seat and console car. The bucket seats and console is missing as is the engine and trans. It is a rolling chassis. Has a 12 bolt rearend. I have not ratioed it yet. I suspect it would be a 3:23 or 3:08 probably not a posi. The car is pretty solid. Had lots of crap in the trunk so the trunk floor is in need of replaced and the bottom of both quarters has rust about 2-3 inches up from so much crap in the trunk drop off areas. The interior is there except the console and bucket seats. The dash pad seems fine. It is the ac style with the block off in the center duct area. car is a power steering and power drum brake car. front fenders are nice as is the hood. bumpers are good average with minor dings. Not rusted. deck lid is good. Windshield has a crack. back glass is broken out. headliner is bad. back seat and door and quarter trim panels are in it. all in fair shape. car is red with white interior. Overall has minor dings here and there. Right door was kinked when it was moved some time back. Interior floors are not rusted out. The back seat foot section needs replaced but the rest seems ok. Has a clock but not tach and gauges. No radio in it. Floor shift non-tilt column. Remote drivers mirror. All side trim is on and seems good. Frame is solid and has no rust. Wheels and tires are just rollers. great future project or parts car clean and clear title. $1800 I am in Redmond, Oregon, can be reached at lemoldsnut@aol.com or between 8 am and 8 pm west coast time at 541-279-4363

I was not in the candy shop! Too obvious. I go to the big stores so it is not so obvious.

Are you looking for a Cutlass or 442? Just a rust-free shell,or a complete car or project? All of my stuff is 70-72.

All of mine are 70-72,with ZERO rust, except for a 72 442 with amateur 1/4 repair.
Are you looking for auto or 4-spd?
