WTB '70 Cutlass convertible
WTB '70 Cutlass convertible
Posted in the Newbie forum what I'm looking for, but wanted to spell it out in appropriate thread also.
WTB a '70 Cutlass convertible. Prefer SX package with Y-79 engine option and W-32, but realize that may be harder to find, so I'd also consider a regular Supreme with 350 engine. Automatic on the column.
I'm in St. Louis, air is pretty much a must, even for a ragtop that will only see pavement on pleasant days. I am also looking for as many options as possible, from PB, PW, PL, tilt and cruise.
Strongly prefer the split bench seat, would rather not have to convert. I also like the white interior, may modify to reflect. However, not going to deviate too much from factory in grand scheme of things, just maybe add more creature comforts.
Inclined more toward a car needing TLC rather than almost-show worthy or which has been partially restored. Have space to work on, willing to take it slow to do this right way the 1st time. Planning on owning the right car a long time--and if not finding the ideal car now, then perhaps trading up in the future. Thanks in advance for any hints/tips on helping me find the right car for me.
