Cutlass

I am likely to be putting my 1970 Cutlass Supreme SX up for sale soon. It's not a 442 but does have a completely #s matching 455 engine, trans and posi diff. It's a real nice driver with functioning a/c and is loaded to the max with options.

You can see pics on my profile. If you're interested we can talk more.

How much of a project would
you and your Son be willing to take on?

I think the one I have available would require
discussing hard work but a sweet ride after
it was finished. It is my 69 442 unfinished project
that I might let go to someone that would be interested
in moving it along to the next level. I have most everything for it.
I have been buying parts for it for the past 7-8 yrs.

The rundown.:
69 442 hardtop. A/C, bucket seat, auto, console shift car.
A/M FM wonder bar W/8 track, tilt column, (restored). and
rear de-fog, with new P/P rally pac and tic-toc-tac and harness.

Original, rebuilt 400 G engine and OG 400 trans and original 3.23 posi.
It had 80 something on it when I found it. SS-1 chromies....And a WHOLE
lot of new and re-popped trimmings. I have New Legendary seat covers,
buns and assembled door panels, with sail panels....Ugh, send me a PM
if you like, Adam.

kpl70sx, nice looking ride. I would like to talk some more. I need something fairly soon as he needs a car to start college with.
Tru-blue 442, I would have been interested sooner in this but we have been looking for a while and now I need something soon as he is about to start school. Hadn't much luck finding one. Hate to say it on this forum but we are starting to look at.. Can I say it.. GTO's .

easyd...would you consider a 68 Cutlass Supreme? I have an all original 68 with 63000 miles. Automatic and A/C. It could be a daily driver while you build it your way. Basically need cosmetics only. Runs good. Would make a great clone. Or what ever you want. I have been going over the mechanics but thought of leaving the cosmetics for someone else to do the way they want it.

Yep johnnyjaws it is. I get my Obama check every week. Thanks. What the heck a 40 year old plus car? See no big deal. Trying to pass theses along to the next generation so they don't end up in the scrap yard. At least someone is interested in the past. So I guess you got your beat up 1948 truck when... 1949.. Lol.. Johnnyjaws now I know why you call your self that.
