WTB: 66 Toronado

Well, i'm looking for a '66 olds Toronado or two. Driveable, or parts-cars. I have one right now i'm working on in good shape, so i'm mainly looking for parts cars, but if I find one in better shape than mine, i'll turn mine into a parts car.

I'm in northern Minnesota, and willing to drive anywhere in-state, or eastern North Dakota, or western Wisconsin. Possibly Iowa. Any cars farther than 100 miles will need to be driveable. I need at least one to have a workable engine, so I can stick it in an El Camino Might consider a 67 for the right price..

I saw a nice full option 68 on the side of the road for sale last year... buckets and center console , just loaded with all the goodies.
I believe I saw it out behind the building last time I was by that way too..

I am almost certain it was $2500 OBO , but I just called and got a machine ... Got the number right and left a message for them to call me back.

I stopped and looked at it... Considered it , and forgot it .
Sure hope its something for you TF !
It needs some TLC , but is loaded , so worth it more than some others...

I'll let ya know what they say.

I've got two '66 parts cars still here , and a '67 and 70 , along with the blue '70 thats a driver yet for a bit... until the guy who bought them comes and grabs em for the heap.
Theres alot of stuff off in the cars too... but tons on them yet as well.
He said grab anything ya want off of em...
and is a friend of mine , so I can get his schedule on em ... and offer him a buy out price if you want a whole car(s).
Been saying this for the past 8 years now.... "be quick, they are gone when they are gone.).

Is that a spoiler on the back of that '68 O.o

Well, I did a little research and I found out the '68 console is nothing like the '66/67. And, I just hate the front ends of 68-69's, so I'm probably not interested in it... But, if he wants to get it sold I could post the information over at the Toronado Owners Assosciation, I'm sure someone there would probably snap it up.

I'd love to get the two '66s from you, but getting them towed from the other side of WI would cost an arm and a leg... And, I don't have the scratch to realize my dream of having an El Camino capable of pulling a Toro on a trailer yet.... Someday though, someday...
