WTB 66 Starfire project 5k
Mick,
I've just acquired one with a friend in Autumn Bronze, white interior, all original with console and air. It's complete and unmolested. It's located in Wyoming but the price would be more than $5K plus shipping.
Thanks,
Bob

That sounds like a nice car but I really don't have more than 5k to spend and was hoping to find something cheaper. 5k would be the max I could pay and the car would need to be a very nice driver for that. Thanks for the information.
I know it's far away.. But the price is right.

I paid $4k for a restorable CA runner 22 years ago, but they come up from time to time at all kinds of prices. Good cars, but you’ll have to be patient.
Challenges are that some trim is rare 1 year / 1 model only and brake drums are getting rare. They can be converted to front disc, but conversion parts are rare too. Easy parts are olds big block, TH400 and they share a lot parts with 65-66 88’s/98’s.
Good luck, hope you find the one you’re looking for
