Wanted 72 cutlass

Looking for a 1972 cutlass. Hardtop preferred, hood scoops a plus, bucket seats with center counsel. An unfinished project would be ideal so I could pick my own colors, but a finished car is not out of the question. Just no red paint!! I live in the St. Louis area, and do not want to travel more than 500 miles, but would go further for the right car. Thanks for your help, Chad.

Chad,
I have a '72 S that is pretty solid. It is a bench seat, flat hood car. It is mostly primer right now & has no engine in it. I was planning on putting a '72 350 Olds engine in it soon, but I can/will sell without the engine. Interior is pretty nice. Like to get $2000.00 as is, or $2700.00 with a running engine. I'm in Indianapolis.
Thanks.
Scott

Chad,
A member here is selling a '72 350 4 speed Supreme that I used to own. He did a ton of work on it. Originally Viking Blue/black, but now gray with OAI hood, cutout rear bumper, rally pack, black buckets and console. He and I haven't connected long enough to talk about it in detail or price. It's in N. FL now, and was a rock solid NM car. This reminds me that I need to call him...

I have this 72 S for sale. Has an original W-25 hood in good condition, repro air cleaner, 71 455 with G heads, A/C, TH400, O style 12 bolt rear (unknown gears but was told 3.42 posi, but I have not confirmed this) and dual exhaust. Has buckets/console, floor shift column and sport steering wheel. No cut out rear bumper though. Car runs VERY well. Needs drivers seat cover, carpet, headliner and rear brake line. There is rust in the quarter panels, corners of the doors and lower fenders. I think all but the drivers quarter is repairable. Floors and trunk floor appear solid. I have someone coming to look at this car Sunday, if he doesnt come or purchase it will be advertised on several sites.
Asking $6000obo Car is located in Beachwood, NJ.

Not sure if you're into the resto mod category, but I'm thinking of selling my 1972 to start looking for a 68.
